The launch date of Windows 8 is approaching now, and almost every day we have the right to announcements of new mobile devices running the Microsoft OS.
The Ultrabook Acer Aspire M5-481PT has a HD screen 10 point multi-touch 14-inch (1280 × 720), an Intel Core i5 with TurboBoost 3rd generation 2.0, a 500GB hard drive ( and a 20 GB SSD integrated to allow a faster startup of the computer), a backlit keyboard and Dolby Home Theater v4.
Side connectors, the device is equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, and an integrated optical drive. The battery pack provides long PowerSmart power up to 8 hours (depending on manufacturer). And the whole structure is presented in a silver aluminum alloy, which tipped the scales at 2090 grams (for comparison, the MacBook Pro 15-inch optical drive weighs 2550 grams.)
Acer also launched a version of 15.6 inches not touch this Ultrabook, the Acer Aspire M5-581PT, which offers a similar configuration but this time in a magnesium alloy frame dark gray with a total weight of 2270 grams.
Both units will be available in the U.S. on October 26. Prices Aspire M5-481PT with Windows 8 and touch support start at $ 799.99, and the configurations of the Aspire M5-581T 15.6 inches $ 699.99 to start.
