It is a tablet running Android disproportionate office? Or a PC with touch screen features Android? Or something new? We do not really know, but the screen VSD220 revealed by ViewSonic drew our attention.
An all-in-one with touch screen 22 inches, ViewSonic VSD220 preferred Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in Windows 8. Fully certified Google, it will include all the usual Android apps las like YouTube, Gmail and Maps, as well as access to Google Play Store to download more apps.
The screen has a full HD 1920 × 1080, and it works with a processor Texas Instruments OMAP 4 dual-core.
The VSD220 includes micro HDMI port, 3 USB ports, microSD, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth. There is also a 1.3-megapixel webcam integrated into the edge for video calls, and speakers SRS, but we do not know the storage space.
"For consumers, the VSD220 is perfect for surfing the web, social networks and have fun with a world of Android apps," said Mark Lufkin, managing director of ViewSonic Europe.
Ice Cream Sandwich supports as well external devices such as mice, keyboards and hard drives, basically you want a desktop computer, although it is based on Android rather than Windows.
